      <image:title>Home - How we got started…</image:title>
<image:caption>Nick and Logan first met on the school bus in 7th grade. They quickly formed a friendship through their shared interest in music, and have since spent countless hours playing guitar and creating songs together. Over the next 15 years many memories were made; playing for friends and family around bonfires, strumming and singing on beach vacations, and crafting many originals from their own life experiences. In 2021, Mario Sansotta (Nick’s dad), approached them with a fantastic opportunity to play at their swim and racquet club. It took very little convincing for Nick and Logan to accept this gig, and they quickly began practicing and learning a foundational setlist of songs ranging from rock, country, modern hits, and old school classics. Honing in on easy-listening, beachy vibes, and feel good jams. After a successful first few performances, they decided to take things to the next level and form an official band - Part of the Crew. With the help of friends and family, Nick and Logan continue to play at a variety of venues as they bring their lively and entertaining performances all over the Charlotte area.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I traveled what I believe is now a well trodden path when it comes to my passion for music… and that was picking up the guitar after watching the beloved classic movie, ‘School of Rock’, back in 2003! My dad had an old acoustic guitar laying around the house, and I started learning with the guitar flat on my lap, using just my thumb to play ‘Smoke on the Water’. Growing up I always gravitated towards playing music that you could sing to; it was my own way of unwinding at the end of the day. Playing guitar and creating songs allowed me to express myself in ways you only find through music. When I’m not performing or practicing you can find me cruising around town on my motorcycle, or working on house projects. My favorite band is Dave Matthews Band.</image:caption>
